Stand In The Gap

Women

After 11 years of marriage without children, this couple attended our Friday Power Night service believing God for a breakthrough. During the meeting, God gave them a prophetic word. By His grace, He has fulfilled His word. They conceived and have now joyfully welcomed healthy triplets. To Jesus alone be all the glory.

I want to give God all the thanks and glory for helping me pass my exams this July. I had written these two papers four times—twice in 2024 and twice in 2025—and failed each time. I was beginning to lose hope and even my faith that I would ever pass. Before my fourth attempt, I said to myself, "If I don't pass this time, I won't continue writing these exams." But I also made a promise to God: "Lord, if You help me pass, I will come back and testify of Your mighty hand before the great congregation in Your house." To the glory of God, I passed both papers on my fourth sitting, and today I have come back to give Him all the praise, honour, and glory. Thank You, Jesus. You honoured Your word and enabled me to honour mine. I am truly grateful. Amen.

Despite the many challenges and opposition surrounding the pregnancy, by the grace of God and through the fervent prayers and support of Ps. Sam, Ps. Haider, and our GLP PGD family, we experienced a safe delivery. God has blessed us with a beautiful baby girl, Conqueror Nhyiraba Birago Twum, and we had a glorious naming ceremony this past Friday. We are truly grateful to God for granting us victory over every challenge and over the plans of the enemy. To Him alone be all the glory. Amen.

During Stand in the Gap 2024, I prayed and asked God to bless me with a place of my own. This year, during Stand in the Gap, I declare that our Lord has once again proven Himself faithful. I return with a heart full of thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus because I attended Stand in the Gap from a place of my own. No matter how difficult or tumultuous the journey may be, my Lord has never forsaken me. As it is written in Psalm 27:10: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." Dear church, please join me in praising and thanking our Lord God Almighty, for His mercies endure forever! Hallelujah!

TESTIMONY OF BREAKTHROUGH! Last week, Prophet Gideon prophesied concerning me that I would experience a breakthrough this week. To the glory of God, the contract has gone through, and my clients are extremely happy. This breakthrough has opened new doors of opportunities and favour for me, and I give all glory and thanks to God for His faithfulness. I also want to appreciate the servant of God for the prayers and declarations spoken over my life. God richly bless EWC, our Global Lead Pastor, and the entire EWC family. To God alone be all the glory! Amen.

DIVINE PROTECTION! On Wednesday night, while I was travelling home, I was involved in an accident. The car somersaulted twice, and everyone involved was injured. But by the grace of God and the oil upon my life, I came out without any injury. I know it was only God who protected and preserved me. I am truly grateful to God for the gift of life and for His divine protection. All glory, honour, and praise belong to God. Amen.

DIVINE PROTECTION! God rescued me from a mass robbery attack at Junction Mall. I was extremely frightened when I saw the crowd approaching me, but by God’s grace, a car came to my rescue. Just as my car moved away, the robbery became intense. I was shocked by what happened, and when I finally got home, all I could say was, “Glory to God!” I am truly grateful to God for His protection and for preserving my life on that day. To God alone be all the glory, honour, and praise. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

My increase is finally here! After serving in the same position at work for 11 years, God has finally lifted me. For seven years during my wilderness season, I fasted and prayed, trusting God for His perfect timing. Looking back now, I realize that He was using that season to prepare me for this greater responsibility. Throughout it all, He made sure I never lacked, faithfully providing for all my needs according to His riches in glory. When Prophet Gideon Danso declared that 2025 is our Year of Glory, I received it as a confirmation that my season of promotion had finally come. Then, as we entered April—our Month of Increase—I knew in my spirit that my time had arrived. On 4 April, I received a significant promotion, and today I serve as Deputy Director. By God's grace, those who once bullied and overlooked me at work are now under my leadership. This victory belongs to the Lord, and I give Him all the glory. Church, please join me in thanking God because my joy is overflowing. I also ask for your prayers, that God will grant me wisdom, humility, and grace to execute my responsibilities faithfully and to the glory of His name. I am deeply grateful to PDG, all the Senior Pastors, and the entire EWC family for your prayers, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey. To God alone be all the glory! Amen.

Before Stand in the Gap (SITG), there were many things holding me back and preventing me from having true fellowship with the Lord. I tried to overcome them on my own, but it felt like I was taking one step forward and two steps back. When I came to SITG, however, the prayers and the Word ministered by all the servants of God truly transformed my life. I felt the chains breaking, and for the first time in a long while, I was able to have a genuine conversation with God. Today, I feel free, loved, and protected. I give God all the glory for what He has done in my life. God richly bless the organizers of SITG. My prayer is that He will continue to strengthen and bless you so that you may keep being a blessing to many others. Amen. 🙏🏿🙏🏿

The last four months of 2024 were an incredibly difficult season for me. I suffered an injury that left me with a broken ankle, and for three months I was unable to walk. After that, I spent more than a month undergoing physiotherapy to regain my ability to walk. Yet, through it all, I experienced the amazing faithfulness of God. He never left me alone in my struggle. Each day, He reminded me that His grace was sufficient for me. Even though I couldn't move about or be as active as I wanted, He taught me not to depend on my own strength. God showed me that His plans for my life have never been based on what I can do or how much I can accomplish. They have always been rooted in His purpose for me, and nothing can frustrate or stop His purpose. Today, by the grace of God, I can walk and move around freely again without the help of crutches. To God alone be all the glory!

Hello EWC family! God has been so faithful and gracious to me, and I want you to join me in celebrating Jesus for all the incredible things He has done in my life. Today, I have three major testimonies of God’s goodness. First, I have been praying for the salvation of my cousin, who has never really shown much interest in the things of God. To the glory of God, for the first time in her life, she attended church with my family for the crossover service. She even came for the Sunday service before 31st December. I give God all the praise for this step toward Him. Secondly, I have been praying for my brother, who had backslidden. For the first time in a very long while, he came back to church, and I thank God for drawing him closer to Himself. Finally, I want to thank God for the major promotion I have received at my workplace. I received a promotion toward the end of 2023 and shared that testimony, and now, toward the end of 2024, God has done it again! All glory and honour belong to God alone. Church, please join me in praying that what God has started in the lives of my cousin and my brother, He will perfect and complete it. Amen.

Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Indeed, this is the doing of the Lord, and it is marvelous in my eyes. Today, I get to share my TESTIMONY! At the beginning of the year, I was truly in a dark place. My boss was constantly on my case, even when I had done nothing wrong. He would often look down on me for no reason, and the work environment became very uncomfortable for me. I had been searching for new opportunities, but every application brought negative feedback. I became desperate and discouraged. Then my fiancé introduced me to TAKE CHARGE, and we began joining the morning prayers. To my surprise, my boss’s attitude toward me started to change. It was nothing short of amazing, and I knew God was at work. Last month, during our fasting period leading up to Stand in the Gap, after joining Take Charge, I arrived at the office and received a call from a recruitment company inviting me for a virtual interview. I completed the interview, and the lady told me she would get back to me. After a week, I received confirmation that I had passed the first stage and that the company wanted to meet me. The recruiter said she would send me all the details I needed. However, a day before the scheduled interview, I realised I had not received any email. I contacted the recruiter, and to my surprise, the same lady who had interviewed me virtually said she did not remember me. I reminded her of my name and provided all the details, but she still insisted that she could not remember me and ended the call. I was heartbroken. I broke down and simply said, “Let God be God.” While I was on my way home, she called me back to apologise. She explained that she had completely forgotten about the interview because the company was originally looking for a male candidate, but I matched the job description and was the right fit for the role. She then sent me the necessary details—and to my surprise, the email even contained the name of the male candidate they were originally looking for! Fast forward to the day of Stand in the Gap, I attended the interview expecting it to be challenging, but what I thought would be a difficult interview turned into an amazing conversation. Everyone on the panel connected with me and appreciated me. Exactly two weeks after Stand in the Gap, on the Friday after GLP prophesied during Take Charge that good news would be released unto us, I received a call from the company informing me that my appointment letter was ready. I could not contain my excitement! I give all glory, honour, and praise to God for this testimony. I also thank God for PGD and the blessing of Take Charge. May God perfect everything He has started in my life. #TakeCharge 🔥🔥 #AnsweredPrayers 🔥🔥

Psalm 34:1-3 (KJV) “I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together.” We want to use this opportunity to thank God for the successful surgery of our elderly sister. The surgery was a critical one, and the outcome was uncertain. Interestingly, the day she was scheduled for the procedure was the same day the church began its fasting and prayers. We informed Prophet Gideon and the other pastors, and they stood with us in prayer. By the grace and mercy of God, the surgery was successful, and our sister came out alive. We give God all the glory for preserving her life, and she is now recovering well. Indeed, the Lord has been faithful, and we return all praise, honour, and thanksgiving to Him. Hallelujah!

I am grateful and delighted to share the wonderful news that God has blessed me and my family with a beautiful baby boy. The journey was not easy, but through it all, God remained faithful and carried us through every step of the way. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Joseph, who prayed with us, encouraged us, and supported us throughout the entire process. This blessing is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, love, and provision in our lives. We give Him all the glory for this precious gift. “This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.” Psalm 118:23 (NKJV) Amen.

After the praise session with Pastor Nathaniel Bassey and his team at Stand in the Gap, I stepped out of the auditorium to pray at the car park because the auditorium was fully packed. As Prophet Gideon led us in prayer, I poured out my heart to God. My younger sister had gained admission to a school in Canada and had applied for her visa, but she was still waiting to hear back from the embassy. That night, I prayed specifically for her, trusting God for a breakthrough. As I was returning to the church for the final session of Stand in the Gap on Saturday, just as I arrived on the church premises, I received a call from my sister informing me that she had received an email from the embassy requesting her to submit her medicals. Fast forward, my sister landed safely in Canada on Thursday, 7 September, to continue her education. I give all the glory and praise to God for answering our prayers and for making provision for her journey. Indeed, God made the process smooth and showed Himself faithful. Amen.

My sister lost her baby five years ago during delivery, and we were told that she might not be able to conceive again. But Jesus did it in His own special way! Today, we celebrate the 3rd birthday of her son. What seemed impossible, Jesus made possible. We give all glory, honour, and praise to God for His faithfulness, His mercy, and His miracle. Indeed, nothing is impossible with God. Amen.

Last night, after Power Night, I had a frightening experience that could have ended very differently, but God stepped in and protected me! As I drove home and stopped to open my gate, I noticed a man on a motorbike approaching. My heart skipped a beat, but I immediately felt relieved when he rode past me and disappeared down the road. I quickly got back into my car, thinking the moment had passed and I could safely drive in. But just as I was about to enter, I heard the sound of a motorbike again. To my shock, it was the same man, now speeding directly towards me. In that split second, I realised his intention—he wanted to follow me inside. I decided not to drive in because I knew I would be safer outside than being trapped inside with an intruder. Then something incredible happened. Just as he got close to me, his engine suddenly stalled. He desperately tried to restart it, but it would not respond. That gave me enough time to start blowing my horn repeatedly, trying to alert my neighbours. And guess what? In the blink of an eye, he turned around and disappeared! I am still amazed at how quickly he vanished with the weight of the motorbike. One thing I know for certain: God showed up for me! We serve a mighty, mighty God at Empowerment Worship Centre! All glory and praise belong to Him. 🙏🏾

I am a Ghanaian currently studying in the U.S., and I follow almost all EWC services. I must confess that they are incredibly powerful. I am based in Connecticut, and last Thursday I travelled to Washington, D.C. On the final day before returning to Connecticut, I lost my passport on a train. If you have been following the news, you know that immigration matters have become increasingly complex. As a non-immigrant student, losing my passport felt like a complete disaster. I honestly felt like I was in an impossible situation. I couldn’t even call home to tell my family because I knew it would cause so much worry. The Washington, D.C. and Maryland area is huge, and I lost my passport at night when the city was crowded with millions of people attending an event. There are numerous train stations and countless train journeys every day, so I had no idea where to even begin searching. I went from station to station and train to train that night, but unfortunately, I found nothing. Everyone around me made it seem like there was no hope. I reported the lost passport online and decided to leave the rest in God’s hands. By God’s grace, I was able to return to Connecticut on Sunday without my passport. However, when I got back, the reality began to sink in: how would I be able to function without my passport as a non-immigrant student? This week, we were praying about lost items being restored. I locked in and prayed earnestly, believing God for a miracle. On Sunday, there was no update. On Monday, I called morning and evening, but still nothing. Each time, I was told in one way or another to forget about it because it was unlikely I would find it. But I kept praying. People of God, when all hope seemed lost, on Tuesday—after prayers—I received an email that said: "Isaac, your passport has been returned." I could not stop shouting and praising God! The axe head that sank has floated again! There is truly fire on this altar. My passport has now been shipped back to me, and I give all glory, honour, and praise to God. God bless EWC, the prayer factory. Indeed, God still answers prayers! Amen.
